Halloween Approaches

Let’s face it, Halloween is the only non-gift-exchanging holiday that girls care about. Don’t kid yourselves. I have some friends that have been contemplating and even working on their Halloween costume since like January. Unfortunately, I am not that proactive. Still, I’ve got a couple months until Halloween…so these are the ideas that have been floating around in my convoluted mind.
Jersey Shore
Now it has become evident that I have really done very little in the way of thinking. Whatever. The fact of the matter is that this show is still spicy hot and I’m sure it will be one of the most popular costume types this year. Obviously I’m thinking Snooki costume. I’m sure I have an outfit skanky enough…and a bump-it laying around somewhere. The makeup will be a small task that I am confident I can tackle rather easily.
Catarina
Confused? It’s simple. One part cat, one part ballerina. Boom. It’s actually a costume for toddlers, but who the hell says I can’t be a catarina? Sounds awesome. Awesome enough to barge its way into my top three costumes, anyway.
Amy
Her last name doesn’t even need to be uttered. Okay, fine. Winehouse. Similar to Jersey Shore, I am sure there will be no shortage of Amy costumes this year. You know what? I’m totally over trying to do the most obscure/original thing for Halloween. Why not go with a crowd pleaser? The only real risk is showing up to a party with three other people rocking the same costume, but I think of that as an opportunity. Wannabes in the same costume as me only give me the chance to show them up!
