Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen Get Into the Denim Biz

Before you shell out the big bucks for your next pair of Joey Jeans, you might want to consider what the Olsen twins are cooking up.
The new denim line is called Textile Elizabeth and James. It seems a bit wordy, but the twins are confident that these new jeans will be a big hit.
“With the addition of Textile Elizabeth and James, the label offers a well-rounded collection of casual to dressy options for the trend conscious customer,” Ashley Olsen said in a recent statement.
This new line of jeans has sort of a cool, 70s vibe. Unfortunately for you and I and our wallets, they will retail for over $200. But we’re used to paying through the nose for quality designer denim, right?
There are currently only three jean styles, but there are plans to expand in the near future to eight (including corduroy styles). Eventually they even plan to include blouses and sweaters in the Textile Elizabeth and James line.
